About me

Hello my name is Reverend Brooke Richards and I live in southern Maine with my husband of 19 years, Jonathan. Together we have three incredible adult children, Emily, Ethan, and Hunter. In 2023 we added a wonderful son-in-law to our family, Sam. We also have 4 cats in our home we love dearly.                                                                                                                                                   

I accepted Christ into my heart at the age of 10 when my dear Aunt Mabel introduced me to Him at her little Bible Chapel in New Hampshire.  He has been with me long before that and is with me to this day.  Though I was not always faithful in my walk, He remained faithful and pursued my heart.

My journey has had highs and lows, just like many of us. In 2000 I was baptized, yet I did not maintain an active walk with the Lord. Fast forward to 2018, when I sat my dad’s side as he went peacefully to be home with Jesus. In that moment I felt God’s love so profoundly that I fell to my knees and surrendered my life to God’s will.  Needless to say it has been a rollercoaster ever since.  I pursued and obtained a Theology degree, interned at a church, led many classes and small groups, self-published two devotional books, and even spent 12 days in Israel where I was blessed to be baptized in the Jordan River.

In all this time, God has put it on my heart repeatedly to walk alongside my sister’s in Christ.  To help them in their journey as both a mentor and a friend.  He placed a longing on my heart to not only reach the lost, but to help those seeking to know Him more. For me it is discipleship, mentoring, and watering the planted seeds so that they can grow and, in turn, nurture others the same way.  

Recently, God has put it on my heart to connect church bodies as a way to spread His word. Through deeper connection, we can grow in His grace and knowledge of the Gospel. As an ordained minister, I am called to encourage others in their walk and help them live out who God made them to be.

I find myself here, by God’s grace, where I can learn and grow in order to better serve those He puts in my path.
