“Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we also live with him; if we endure, we also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.” 2 Timothy 2:11-13
Faithful! He cannot disown Himself.
Father, praise You that You are faithful to Your word and Your promises. I read these lines and think of how close we can be. I think, too, of how I have strayed and doubted. Yet, You always stood in one place waiting for me to return. You remained faithful to who You are. My faithless times did not change You and that changes me. The assurance of who You are strengthens me for I know I can entrust all of me to You.
Lord, thank You that I can be alive in You through Christ! May I remember to embrace being alive in Christ. Let me be fully alive and show the world Your faithful love.
In Jesus Name
Today I will rejoice in the faithfulness of God. I will hold fast to He remains true to who He is even when I may doubt myself.
