“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:5-7
The peace of God that transcends all understanding!
Father, Praise You that we can experience this supernatural peace even in times of great sorrow or pain. When our burdens seem too much to bear, we can cry out to You and You will hear us and help carry us through. It is through our hope in Jesus we can go forth each day in joy for we know the cares of this world are temporary. We can trust that You will see us through storms just as You are with us in the valleys.
Lord, may I remember, as the song lyrics go, “No less God within the shadows; No less faithful when the night leads me astray.” [Song of Ascent- Hillsong United}. Whatever my circumstances may be, You are no less God. You remain constant and faithful to who You are. Praise You, God!

Today I will remember that I need not be anxious for I can go before God in prayer with a heart of thanksgiving and He will hear me and grant me His peace.
