“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24
It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Father, I can easily forget how everything is for You. I can get so wrapped up in the world, in work, and in “doing” things that I forget to be with You. I forget to do all things for You and with You. I lose sight of giving You all the glory, even in the mundane. “Work” becomes stressful when I leave You aside as if from 9-5, You check out of my life.
Lord, I am sorry, and I know I need to let go so I can truly serve You in all areas of my life. Thank You for reminding me and working through this with me. May I grow stronger in abiding in You in all areas of my life.

Today I will abide. I will have you through every moment of my day, even the most mundane, with the Lord by my side. To Him be the glory!
