“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” Psalm 46:1-3
God is our refuge and strength.
What a blessing to know that, though everything around us may be chaos, You are constant. We can run to You amid it all. You may not calm the storm, but You will calm us.
Father, I love all the reminders of who You are that we find in the Psalms. Our refuge. Our strength. Ever-present in times of struggle. With You we need not fear. Praise You God!
Father, there is nowhere better to seek refuge than in Your loving arms. There is nothing in this world that can provide the comfort that You do. Nothing that provides the freedom and rest that You provide.
Lord, may I always seek You. May I seek my refuge in You and not this world. Let me come to You for strength and guidance for You are gracious to provide both. Praise You, Lord!
In Jesus Name
Today I will seek refuge in You. Whether I am in a storm or a calm of life on this day, I will place myself securely in Your arms.
