“If you can?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome by unbelief!” Mark 9:23-24
Help me overcome my unbelief.
Father, I admit that there are times I say I believe that You can do all things and make miracles happen, yet do I really believe it in my core? Do I miss the expectation part? Is there a space where I am not in full belief? Help me see more clearly the places where my belief may be lacking.
Lord, I know in my mind that I do not need to see You do something to know that You could do it. Let every part of me be in complete belief and faith in this- You can! Even if You do not, You can!
Lord, I admit, too, that I, too often, think You have better things to do then take way something like my headache or leg pain. Simple examples, I know, but they are true.
Lord, let me let go of not asking You for everything, of thinking You have better things to do then love me and answer my simple prayers.

Today I ask God to take my unbelief and transform it to belief. I will let go of not wanting to “bother” God with the simpleness of my personal prayers for He is a good and faithful God who wants to both hear me and help me.
