January 13th 2026

“Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God then dwell in the tents of the wicked.” Psalm 84:10

Father, now that I know You, I cannot imagine spending eternity without You. To be kept from You would be truly hell. I would be but a doorkeeper in Your house if it means I get to be close to You forever.

Father, thank You that I do not have to wait until I leave this life to be with You. I can experience Your Kingdom here and now. I can feel Your presence here at any moment. I need not live in the tents of the wicked of the world when I can live in the light of Your glory in this present day.

Lord, may I live this life on earth as if Your Kingdom is here and now. May I demonstrate Your love to those around me so that they, too, want to be in Your Kingdom knowing it is a far better place to be.

In Jesus Name

Today I will remember to be Kingdom focused rather than worldly focused. I will hold firm to “better is one day in His court” and remember I can experience His Kingdom here and now.
