“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
God breathed! Just like You breathed life into Adam, Your word breathes life into us. New life. True life. Eternal life.
Father, oh, how You have spoken these verses to me so many times! They are a sweet reminder of how wonderful Your word truly is. Your words encourage us, guide us, protect us, and even correct us! You gave us a way to You through Your Word. Let us never forget that, even more than scripture itself, Your Word is Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Let us follow him and his ways for he is the way to You.
Lord, may I remember that all Your words are meant for our good. Let me not pick and choice Your words or bend them for my own will.

Today, as I spend time in Your word, I will remember it is all good for it is all breathed by You. Even the parts of Your word that challenge me I will give to You to grow me as a Christ follower.
