“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2
Gentle and humble. These are the only two words Jeus uses to describe himself. (Matthew 11:29)
Father, love does not boast itself. Love simply is. When we are gentle and patient with one another we can find a place of love.
Father, I thank You for how patient and loving You are with me, You know my heart and the pain I have felt in this life, You wrap Your arms around me and hold me close so that the pain can melt into a place of contentment in Your arms.
Lord, may I rest humbled in You. May I be patient, not only with others, but with myself. Let my words be Your words and let them be kind ones that build others up in Your love.
In Jesus Name
Today I will find humble rest in the arms of my Father who loves me. I will be patient with myself remembering I am work in progress.
