“Show me Your ways, LORD, teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.” Psalm 25:4-5
My hope is in You all day long.
Father, I think of how to know someone, deeper than knowing facts about them, we must spend time with them. We must listen with our whole heart. We must watch what they do and learn from them. I want to know You like that, Lord. I long to spend time in Your presence, learning Your ways, and understanding Your heart. I want You to be my guide. I want to place all my hope in You. To do this I need to spend time with You; just You and me. More than reading Your word, I need to stop and be still and listen to Your voice.
Lord, may I put aside facts and knowledge about You so that I can truly know You. May I spend time in Your presence remembering that, to know You, I need to be with you.

Today I, in all simplicity, will be with God. I will be still in His presence putting aside head knowledge for heart knowledge.
