The Lord establishes our steps.
Father, as I sit here contemplating the plans I have in my heart, I realize that none of them will happen without You establishing my steps. I can strive and plan all that I want, but if You are not in it, I will fall short.
Lord, let my heart and my plans be in alignment with You. Let me put aside “me” so You can lead my way. Let me seek Your face first before I take a single step. Most importantly, for me, Lord let me be okay with letting go of what is on my heart if it does not align with Your plan for me. Grant me realization and acceptance that what you have for me is so much better than I could ever imagine.

Today I will seek You first. I will let go of any of my plans in which You are not leading. I will hold fast to Your faithfulness and how You work all things out for my good.
