“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1: 8-9 (my life verse)
Inexpressible joy!
Father, Thank You for how You have shown Yourself to me. Thank You for filling me with Your presence. I love and praise You!
Father, though I may not have seen Jesus in the flesh, I have felt his presence. I have felt his truly indescribable joy. I love him because he first loved me. He loves me not because of anything I ever did or will ever do, but because He is love. As the Psalmist writes, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God” Psalm 42:1
Lord, may I remember that I do not need to see You in the flesh to know You and to trust in You for this is faith.

Today I pray for others to feel Your presence around them. I pray that for them to embrace You for there is no greater joy than to be in Your presence.
