“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” James 1:12 NASB
Blessed is he who perseveres under trial.
Father, today, as I write, it is Good Friday. The day that Jesus laid down his life for ours and commended his Spirit unto You God. He faced so much more than I ever will, and he persevered until the end following Your will all the way to the cross.
Lord, may I have Your strength to persevere in times of trial. May I remember the reward that comes with following You and being obedient to You. Trials in this life are only temporary struggles here on earth. However difficult they may be, they do not last forever. Our forever is with you God. Praise You!
In Jesus Name
Today I will center my focus on my forever with You, Lord. I will remember that this life is but a speck of time and that trials are temporary. With you I can persevere.
