“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 NASB
Wisdom. What stops me from seeking Your wisdom first? Why do I try to go it alone?
Father, we look for wisdom in books, in other people, and through the media. Yet, true wisdom comes only when we seek You Lord. If, and when, we ask for Your wisdom You gladly provide it.
Lord, help me to always seek You first and ask for Your wisdom. If I should seek others, let me seek wise counsel of Godly Christ followers. Let me never think I know it all or that I can do it all on my own. Let me come before You in humility seeking Your wisdom.

Today I will come before You with a humble heart seeking Your wisdom and asking for discernment, so I know I am following You and not this world.
