Praise You for Your goodness and lovingkindness!
Father, how does taking my life in my hands work out? Has trying to control my own life ever panned out well?
Lord, it was not until I surrendered my life to You that I had peace in my heart. Let me remember this when the human desire for control sets in. When I want to take the wheel or steer the ship that is my life. Let me recall that Your way is so much better. Let me not forget Your laws and Your commands. Let obedience and submission to You guide my every step. May my choices be mine, but moreover may they be in alignment with Yours.
In Jesus Name
Today I will surrender my need for control. I will be obedient to You God, even in the smallest of things. For in this surrender, I find rest and joy.
