“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope-the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” Titus 2:11-14
Father, thank You for extending Your grace to all of us. Thank You that, with Jesus, we can be in this world but not of it. What we do as Christ followers shows the world who You are. We are to be Your ambassadors, who shine a light in this broken and shadowy world. As Your ambassadors we do not have to fall victim to the enemy and all his guiles.
Lord, help me to say “no” to the wiles of this world. Let me put You first and live in a way that brings You both honor and glory.
Lord, may I be eager to do what is good and right in Your eyes.

Today I remember that I may be in this world, but I am not of it. I am living for Your eternal kingdom.
