“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6
Overflowing with thankfulness!!
Father, This. A thankful heart helps keep us rooted in You Lord. When we both recall and rejoice in Your faithfulness our roots grow deeper into Your firm foundation. I am so very thankful for how, in You, we are strengthened and absolutely free.
Lord, may I remember to keep nurturing the roots planted in You through Your Word. May I cling to You and this relationship we are building. Let me not go one day, one moment, without holding fast to You, Jesus.

Today I will be thankful. I will rejoice in You, Lord. I will remember where my roots are planted. I will have deep roots, wide branches.
