“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30 ESV
Father, how easily we can be led to think that something “beautiful” and “charming” is exactly that? Yet, how often are those “beautiful” things only outward images covering a dark and deceitful soul? Eventually the true self prevails over the outward veil.
Lord, let me, daily, put on Your image first before anything else. Let Your light shine through me more than make-up or clothes, or outward appearance. May the inward and the outward of me align with You. May I be a woman who brings You glory. May I be a woman who will one day hear You say, “well done.”

Today, before I put on my clothes, I will put on Your image, God, and dawn myself with Your truth. I will seek to ensure that all of me is aligned with all of You.
