“Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” Psalm 143:10
To do Your will. Not my own.
Father, this is so hard when so much of me wants control over my life and wants what I think is best for me. Yet, what is truly best for me is to be in Your will. Outside of Your will I am a lost, discontented, and misguided traveler. The ground under me is full of rocks and treacherous obstacles. In Your will the path before me is clear for You care for it all. Praise You Father.
Lord, may my will be aligned with Yours. May I let go of what I think is “right” and what I desire so that I can fully surrender to Your will and Your plan for my life.

Today I will surrender my will and my control and let You have all of me. I will choose to live in faith for You will keep me on level ground.
