Blessed is he who trusts in the Lord! Praise God!
Father, there is no better place to put my trust than in You. No one in this world is as faithful and true as You. Despite how hard we try; we fall short in faithfulness.
Lord, in Your word there is goodness and light that overtakes the darkness of this world. The enemy-the battle- is truly fought, so often in our minds. Let me think of Your word above all. Let me hear Your words above all the distracting voices of this world. Let me hold fast and stand firm in our trust in You. For You alone are worthy of it all.

Today I will rest in Your word. I will hold fast to Your promises and cling to the truth that I can entrust my life to You.
