“Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3 ESV
Father, when You created this world and Your people-Adam and Eve- You gave them the work of caring for all that was around them. Work was not meant to be a burden, but rather a joyful praise to You. Committing all our work to You gives us peace, joy, and contentment in a well-established way.
Lord, let me hold fast to this knowledge as I go about my day-my workday. Let me commit all that I do to Your glory. As I do this, I trust in You to guide and establish my way aligning it with Yours. May I not do things out of selfish ambition. May I not grumble along the way. May I be patient in the wait.
In Jesus Name
Today I will embrace the work set before me with open arms knowing it is all for Your glory. You are there even in the mundane of my day. I simply need to see You there and invite You in.
