“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
God’s will for you (for me) is to be joyful, rejoicing in all ways always. To be in prayer continuously. To be thankful in all circumstances.
Father, how often, God, do we look for a greater purpose? How often do we think “there has to be more for me”? Your will is for us to do these things-rejoice, give thanks, pray, and be in a relationship with You. When we do this, everything else falls into place.
Lord, may I cling to these words and remember to rejoice, pray, and give thanks no matter the circumstance. For You are good and You work everything out for the good of those who love You.

Today I will rejoice in You! No matter what the day may bring I will give You thanks, and I will pray.
