“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
Father, thank You for showing us compassion. Thank You for how Christ showed compassion when he healed so many during his time here. Thank You that You continue to heal and restore.
Father, through Christ, you forgave us. May we show that same forgiveness to others. It is not easy to forgive, especially when we feel such hurt, but Father, I Thank You that You take that hurt from us. You help us and carry that burden when we cannot.
Lord, may I never take for granted what Christ did for me when he took the sin of the world upon himself. May I follow in his footsteps and be kind and compassionate to all.
In Jesus Name
Today I will look to Jesus, the author and perfector of my faith, as my example of how to be kind and compassionate to everyone. I will choose forgiveness. As hard as it may be to forgive, I know, Jesus will carry me through.
