“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

2 Corinthians 5:21

Father, it both breaks my heart and fills my soul with joy when I think of the sacrifice made through Jesus’s death for me (for us). He knew no sin yet took on all the world’s sin. He took on that pain, that shame, and that humiliation so I could be reconciled to You through him. All of this so I could be made “right” with You.

Father, “Thank You” is not enough. I do not think there are words in any human language to truly encompass the depth of this love You showed us.

Lord, may I never forget, never let go of this feeling of great love. May it be at the forefront of all that I do. May it always direct my path toward You.

In Jesus Name

Today I write the gratitude I feel for Your love on my heart and carry it with me.
