“For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

Wake up!
Father, You never intended for your creation to suffer or to be in any disconnection from You. Though there is a price we pay for sin being in this world, You gave us a way to salvation-Your son Jesus!
Lord, thank you for loving us so much that You would sacrifice Jesus’s life for ours. May more people wake up to see the truth of Your great love. May those of us who are awake be of encouragement to all around us so that Your love shines even brighter.

Today I will go out and shine Your light and love by being encouraging to others.
