“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
Confidence!
Father, You have not given us a Spirit of fear, but one of strength and authority. Though we are weak humans and sinners, we can come to You and receive Your grace and mercy. You give, not because we deserve, but because it is who You are. We need only to come to You with a heart of repentance and seek Your face.
Lord, may I empty me of my “self” and seek You in full confidence. Let me not hide from You, but rather seek You in full abandon. There is nowhere I would rather be than close to You, my God. Near to You, not just in times of need, but always.

Today I will live in confidence knowing that this confidence comes from You. I can live boldly for You have given me Your Spirit within me.
