“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Father, at times I struggle with this verse as I know I did not raise my son up in Your ways. I strayed from You for a time when he was young.
Praise You Father for bringing me back to You. For giving me a chance to show my son who You are and that You always take the repentant back. I will hold fast to the knowledge that there were moments that I showed him You and that You spoke to his heart.
Lord, may the rest of my life show all the children around me Your ways so that they know You. I trust that, even if they stray for a time, they will come back to You Lord. Praise You!

Today I will give myself the same grace God gives me. While I cannot undo the past, I can live today for my Lord and savior in such a way that my children, family, and friends seek to be closer to Him.
