“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
New creation in Christ.
Father, praise You, God, that we can be creations in Christ. Praise You, God, that who we were before we asked Christ into our hearts can be chiseled away as we grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus. The old “self” can fall to the wayside.
Father, thank You that this is a process and that You do not hold our sanctification against us. Praise You that, when we stumble as we will, You remain with us to bring us closer to You.
Lord, may I remember that each step toward You is a step away from what was and a step toward what will be. For this I am ever so humble and grateful.

Today I will remember that sanctification is a process. I may stumble or step back, but You will use those times to grow me. I am a new creation in Christ, and I do not need to live as I once did. Praise God!
